My First Book

Will.” Mr.Matay yelled, “Will”

“Yes.” I answered.

“Can you please answer the question.” He said, but it wasn’t a question it was a demand.

“What was it?” I asked.

“How many squares are in this picture.”

(Sorry I couldn’t add the picture.)

“10.” I answered.

Then he walked away muttering “Know it all.” While others kept whispering to each other about my “photographic memory” in fact I had quite the opposite I could remember anything as long as it’s not a photo.

“I don’t have a photographic memory.” I hissed to Jack and Jake who were sitting right behind me.

“How could you…” Jake said, “Understand us.” Jack finished for his twin.

“You were whispering.”

“In a different language.” Jake said.

“Oh.” I said.

“Meet us back here at 6 o’clock.” Jack said.

That was the end of the chapter please reply to tell me how I did.

Inspirational Quotes and People

These are some quotes and people that inspired me. I started writing a book, but I wouldn’t have started writing it without these 4 authors: Rick Riordan, Stephanie Meyers, Lisa Mcmann, Shannon Messenger. The quotes that inspired me are:

  • Your limitation—it’s only your imagination.
  • Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you.
  • The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.
  • Everyday may not be a good day, but in everyday there is something good.
  • Fear is considered a weakness although fear makes you stronger.
  • We may encounter many defeats but we will not be defeated.
  • Nobody can go back and make a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

I hope these quotes will inspire you too.

Courage

I know veterans day already passed, but When I was in fifth grade we had to write about courage this is what I put:

What is courage, some may ask. What I think courage It’s not having no fear because veterans they were probably really afraid. But the one thing I know is that veterans were really afraid of death, did that stop them? No. It drove them to fight harder. Courage to me means knowing death was close, but still fighting to save the lives of a entire country. To think that people died for my life it’s sad. Courage true courage means to die in the place of others. Thank you veterans.
